So long as a woman lives the life of the past, she can never come into conflict with history. But no sooner does she begin to deviate [individuate], however slightly, from a cultural trend that has dominated the past than she encounters the full weight of historical inertia, and this unexpected shock may injure her, perhaps fatally. Her hesitation and doubt are understandable enough, for if she submits to the law of love, she finds that she is not only in a highly disagreeable and dubious situation, where every kind of lewdness and depravity abounds, but she is actually caught between two universal forces — historical inertia and the divine urge to create.

Dreams can both shape and change a life. Dreams inspire us to seek the best in ourselves, challenge us to vaporize limiting assumptions, terrify and enlighten, reveal weaknesses to be transformed into strengths and defenses into sweet vulnerabilities. Telepathic dreams may protect us and those we love from harm. Healing dreams can trigger healing in the body. Dreams may presage terrible difficulties and losses which we have no choice but to live through, or a winning lottery number. Dreams open locked doors in our individual and collective psyches , again and again, leading us into ever-expanding spirals of inner light and outer cycles of destruction and creation.
Lucid dreaming is an art, and I am both creator and practitioner of the process I call Dream Yoga.
This Blog details the process and the benefits of Dream Yoga. If you desire a more conscious and creative relationship with Dreamtime, the technique and examples in this Blog will lead you through the practice of Dream Yoga toward your unique path of Dreaming the Feminine Awake in your waking life.
